NFCC College Student Financial Literacy DVD and Tool Kit
The NFCC College Student Financial Literacy DVD & Tool Kit consists of two disks. Disk one is a DVD containing the “College Credit for Life” DVD, which runs just over nine minutes and introduces students to lessons surrounding the temptations and responsible use of credit cards. Much of the DVD features young people talking about the mistakes they themselves made in college. The DVD also features other voices, in the form of an apartment rental agent, a car salesman, and a human resources executive, all discussing the implications that both responsible or irresponsible use of credit can have as students prepare to move on from college and into the real world. Disk two contains a variety of accompanying materials including: a customizable pamphlet; a sample lesson plan; and a financial literacy true/false quiz.
The NFCC Vision is to create a national culture of financial responsibility.
